AQUADETECT Project Officially Launches with Kick-off Meeting in Lisbon

The AQUADETECT consortium officially launched the project during its Kick-off Meeting, held on 12 May 2026 at Lusófona University, Lisbon, Portugal. The meeting brought together representatives of the partner organisations, while participants unable to attend in person joined remotely via Microsoft Teams.

As the first official meeting of the consortium, the event provided an opportunity for partners to meet, establish a common understanding of the project, and lay the foundations for effective collaboration throughout its implementation.

The agenda focused on the presentation of the project's management structure, work packages, planned activities, expected deliverables, communication and dissemination strategy, as well as administrative and financial procedures. The consortium also discussed the project timeline, coordination mechanisms, and responsibilities of each partner to ensure a successful start.

The Kick-off Meeting marked an important milestone for AQUADETECT, reinforcing the partners' shared commitment to close collaboration, scientific excellence, and the successful achievement of the project's objectives over the coming months.
